The third sister took her brother in (третья сестра провела своего брата в замок: «взяла ее брата внутрь»; to take /took, taken/ — брать; to take smb. to a place — доставлять, отвозить, отводить кого-л. куда-л.; брать кого-л. с собой куда-л.) just as the first and second had done (точно так же, как сделали первая и вторая /сестры/; to do /did, done/), telling him not to wonder at anything he saw (при этом говоря ему не удивляться ничему, что он увидит: «видел»; to see /saw, seen/).
They were not long inside (они недолго пробыли внутри) when a roaring noise was heard (когда послышался рев: «громкий шум был слышным»; roar — рев, грохот; to roar — реветь, рычать; гудеть, грохотать, шуметь; roaring — шумный, бурный; громкий; to hear /heard/), and in came the greatest eagle that ever was seen (и внутрь влетел огромнейший орел, какого когда-либо видели: «который был когда-либо видан»; to come /came, come/ — приходить, прибывать). The eagle hurried upstairs (орел поспешил вверх по лестнице; up — вверх по; stair — ступень; stairs — ступеньки, лестница; upstairs — наверху, на верхнем этаже; вверх /по лестнице/), and soon came down a man (и вскоре вниз спустился мужчина).
The third sister took her brother in just as the first and second had done, telling him not to wonder at anything he saw.

"Who is that stranger there with you (кто этот незнакомец с тобой)?" asked he of the wife (спросил он у жены).
"This is my brother (это мой брат), who has come to see me (который пришел повидать меня)."
"Who is that stranger there with you?" asked he of the wife.
"This is my brother, who has come to see me."
They all took supper (они все /вместе/ поужинали: «приняли ужин»; to take /took, taken/ — брать; принимать /пищу, лекарство/) and slept that night (и проспали /всю/ ночь: «и спали той ночью»; to sleep /slept/). When the eagle was going away in the morning (когда орел собирался из замка: «прочь» поутру), he pulled a feather out of his wing (он вытащил перо из своего крыла), and said to the boy (и сказал юноше), "Keep this (сохрани его: «это»); it may serve you (оно может тебе пригодиться: «оно может послужить тебе»). If you are ever in straits (если ты когда-либо окажешься в затруднительном положении; straits — стесненные обстоятельства, затруднительное положении, нужда) and want help (и будешь нуждаться в помощи; to want — хотеть, желать; нуждаться, испытывать потребность /в чем-л., ком-л./), call on what eagles are in the world (призови всех орлов, что живут на свете: «призови /всех/ тех орлов, какие есть в мире»; to call — кричать; to call on smb. — призывать, взывать, обращаться; what — что? каков?; тот, который), and they'll come to you (и они придут тебе /на помощь/: «они придут к тебе»)."
They all took supper and slept that night. When the eagle was going away in the morning, he pulled a feather out of his wing, and said to the boy, "Keep this; it may serve you. If you are ever in straits and want help, call on what eagles are in the world, and they'll come to you."
There was no hurry now (теперь спешить было некуда: «больше не было спешки»), for the third sister was found (так как третья сестра была найдена; to find /found/); and the boy went upstairs with her (и юноша пошел вверх /по лестнице/ вместе с ней) to examine the country all around (чтобы рассмотреть окрестности: «территорию всю вокруг»; country — страна; местность, территория; all — всецело, целиком; around — вокруг; всюду; all around — кругом, со всех сторон, повсюду), and to look at the sea (и взглянуть на море). Soon he saw a great white hill (вскоре он увидел большой белый холм), and on the top of the hill a castle (а на вершине холма — замок).
